What does the “platform fee” on each sale mean?
Cohorta is a marketplace platform. Each trainer sells through their own Stripe account (you connect it in the admin panel under Payments). Your customer pays you directly and Cohorta automatically deducts the platform fee (Free 10%, Starter 5%, Growth 3%, Scale 0%).
Can I start on Free and move to Growth later?
Yes. You choose your plan in the admin panel: Settings, Cohorta subscription plan, at any time. Paid plans start with a 7-day trial, and if you cancel you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes. Cohorta issues you a monthly invoice for the subscription (Starter, Growth, Scale) and a separate one for the platform fee. You invoice your own customers (Polish sellers can connect Fakturownia.pl in 2 minutes in the admin panel: Settings, Fakturownia).
Can I move learners over from another platform?
Yes. In the admin panel, on the member list, you invite learners in bulk from a CSV file (email, name, role). Each person gets an invitation by email, and you grant course access after the import.
Can I take my data with me if I leave?
You can download the member list and the list of issued certificates as CSV at any time. When closing your account, write to us and we will agree what is deleted and when.
What do I get on the Free plan, forever?
Access to the whole platform: community, public profile, messages, ebooks, 1 product for sale, up to 50 learners. You sell with a 10% platform fee. A good start for solo trainers who want to test the market without risk.
Can I issue certificates?
Yes, on every plan. A PDF certificate with public verification (a link the learner can add to their CV or LinkedIn). Issued automatically when the course is completed (100% of lessons) or manually in the admin panel: Certificates.
