Certificates with verification
When someone finishes a course or programme, they receive a certificate with a unique verification link. An employer or client who opens the link sees a public certificate page: name, course, date and issuer. That makes the certificate credible when it goes on a CV or a LinkedIn profile.
How it works
Step 1
Set up the template
Logo, issuer name and signature. The certificate is generated as a PDF when the course is finished.
Step 2
Issue automatically
Once the participant completes every lesson, the certificate is issued to them and appears on their profile. You can also issue one by hand.
Step 3
Let anyone verify it
Each certificate has a link with a unique number. The verification page is public and needs no login.

Frequently asked questions
Is the certificate accredited?
A certificate is issued by you, the academy or organisation. Cohorta provides the infrastructure: template, generation and verification. Accreditation depends on your institution and the rules of your industry.
Can I revoke a certificate?
Yes. An administrator can revoke a certificate, for example after a refund or if fraud is discovered. The public verification page then shows it as revoked, and the action is logged.
Can participants add the certificate to LinkedIn?
Yes. The certificate page has an Add to LinkedIn link that fills in the Licenses & Certifications section. Anyone viewing the profile can follow the verification link.
