Payments and invoicing
Cohorta sells through Stripe checkout, and the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. You can charge one-off prices or subscriptions, with free trials, discount codes and bundles, in PLN, EUR or USD. Signed-in buyers can enter a tax ID and billing address at checkout. After payment, access is granted automatically.

Connect your own Stripe account in a few steps. The payment methods buyers see, such as cards and Apple Pay, follow your Stripe settings.
Step 2
Sell
The buyer pays through Stripe checkout, with or without an account, and gets access straight away. You get a notification.
Step 3
Keep the books tidy
Payments and refunds live in your Stripe dashboard. Invoices can be issued automatically through Fakturownia, a Polish invoicing service, or by hand from the admin panel.

Frequently asked questions
Are invoices issued automatically?
If you connect Fakturownia (available from the Starter plan), yes: an invoice is created after each purchase and sent to the buyer. Fakturownia is built for sellers invoicing under Polish rules. Otherwise you issue invoices yourself, and Stripe checkout still collects the buyer’s tax ID and billing address.
Which payment methods are supported?
Whatever you enable in your Stripe account: cards, and wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Stripe decides which methods to show based on the buyer’s country and your settings.
Do you take a commission on sales?
The Cohorta platform fee falls as you move up: 10% on the free plan, 5% on Starter, 3% on Growth and 0% on Scale and Enterprise. Stripe charges its own processing fee on top, according to its pricing.
What about refunds?
You refund the payment in your Stripe dashboard. After a full refund, Cohorta removes the buyer’s access to the product automatically. A correcting invoice, if you need one, is issued by you as the seller.
