Courses and cohort programmes

Cohorta is a platform for online courses and cohort-based programmes. You build a programme from modules and lessons: video, text, quizzes, assignments and a certificate at the end. A cohort programme adds a shared schedule, live calls, one-to-one mentoring and a community for the group. Everything sits in one place, under your brand.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Build the programme

Add modules and lessons (video, text, file, quiz, assignment). Drip lessons over the days after enrolment and, if you want, require each lesson to be finished before the next one opens.

  2. Step 2

    Open a cohort

Give the group a start date, live calls and its own discussion space, so everyone moves through the material together.

  3. Step 3

    Sell and run it

Payments go through Stripe checkout into your own Stripe account. Message participants, follow their progress and issue certificates when they finish.

Who it is for

  • Trainers and coaches running programmes for groups
  • Training companies selling a catalogue of courses
  • Educators who teach to a fixed schedule (the cohort model)

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a course and a cohort programme?

A course is on demand: participants start whenever they like and go at their own pace. A cohort programme runs on a fixed schedule with a start date, deadlines and live calls, so the whole group works through the material together.

Can I drip content?

Yes. Each lesson can unlock a set number of days after the participant enrols. You can also turn on sequential unlocking, so the next lesson opens only once the previous one is complete.

Are there quizzes and assignments?

Yes. Quizzes support single and multiple choice, true or false, and short or long written answers, which you mark by hand. Assignments take a file upload and your written feedback. A lesson with a quiz counts as complete only once the quiz is passed.

Can I run live calls?

Yes, in Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Keep the meeting link in the lesson or the event, and after the call add the recording link so participants can catch up.
