All of Cohorta, step by step: for academy owners, trainers, moderators and learners. Each chapter explains what a screen is for, who can see it, where to find it and what to click.

  1. 01First steps and your accountThis chapter takes you from creating an account to everyday work in Cohorta. It covers the glossary, roles, signing up, logging in, passwords, creating and switching academies, the setup wizard, the Dashboard, menus, search, notifications, language and theme, settings and your profile.15 sections
  2. 02Products and sales pagesIn this chapter you build your academy's offering: products of every type, their pricing options, sales pages, the academy's public page and the store. Stripe payments, discount codes, order bumps, post-purchase offers and the referral programme are covered in chapter 3. The learning programme (modules, lessons, quizzes) is covered in chapter 4. Buying from the customer's side is covered in chapter 9.18 sections
  3. 03Payments, promotions and invoicesIn this section you connect a Stripe account to accept payments, set up discount codes, post-purchase offers, the order bump and the referral program, and handle invoices for buyers as well as the invoices Cohorta issues to you. Buying from the buyer's side is covered in section 9, the Cohorta subscription and plan limits in section 8.11 sections
  4. 04Curriculum, grading and certificatesThis chapter covers the staff side of course content: programs, modules and lessons, quizzes and assignments, grading learners' work, certificates and the resource library. What the learner sees at the same time is covered in chapter 9.9 sections
  5. 05Community and moderationThis chapter covers your academy's community from the staff side: spaces and sections, writing posts, comments, reactions, saved posts, pinning and locking posts, the Moderation screen, the member directory and the leaderboard. Posts, comments and reactions work the same way for every role, so this description applies to learners too. How a learner uses the community day to day is in chapter 9.13 sections
  6. 06Events and mentoringThis chapter covers events (webinars, workshops, office hours, live sessions and in-person meetings) and 1:1 mentoring from the side of the person running them: creating, editing, registrations, attendance, recordings, completing and cancelling events, and in mentoring, publishing slots and handling bookings. How a learner registers for an event and books a mentoring session is described in chapter 9.11 sections
  7. 07Members, communication and automationsThis chapter covers the people in your academy: the members list, invitations (single, from a file and by link), roles, tags, actions on many people at once and removal. After that we describe gamification, automations, email campaigns and messages to learners.17 sections
  8. 08Academy settings, branding, subscription and analyticsThis chapter covers the one-time setup of your academy: the Admin settings screen, branding, turning modules on and off, your Cohorta subscription plan and plan limits, the numbers on the Dashboard and in product stats, and the AI features. Payments from buyers (Stripe Connect), Fakturownia and invoices are covered in chapter 3.10 sections
  9. 09Learner: buying and learningThis chapter describes Cohorta from the learner's side: where to find an academy's offer, how to buy a product with or without an account, how to accept an invitation, how to learn (courses, lessons, quizzes, assignments, certificates) and what else you can use in the academy: resources, the ebook library, messages, events, mentoring and payment history. The staff side of the same features is covered in chapters 2, 3, 4 and 6.26 sections
  10. 10Moderator and trainer without admin rightsThis chapter is for people who help run an academy but are not its admin. It covers exactly what a moderator and a trainer can see and do, what neither role can do, and what a normal working day looks like in each role.9 sections
  11. 11Rules, data security and GDPRThis chapter explains in plain language who is responsible for your data, where the legal documents are, how cookie consent works, how to use your GDPR rights, how your account and files are protected, what others can see about you and how to unsubscribe from emails. The legal documents on the website are always what counts. This chapter only summarises them.8 sections
  12. 12TroubleshootingThis chapter collects the most common problems, split by learner, staff and admin, and explains how to report a problem so you get a quick answer. Start with section 12.1: five simple steps solve most issues.8 sections
